Liz Millar

My family has been a part of the Method community since we enrolled our son in the infant room in 2018.  I stepped into the Parent Representative role on the Board in 2022 and stayed on as a Board member after my son started kindergarten in 2023. Over these five years, Method has become an extension of our family and our family has built lasting relationships with the staff and other families.

I am a Research Project Manager and Evaluation Specialist with UNC-Chapel Hill at the Carolina Population Center. Most of my work is internationally focused, engaging with and supporting health researchers and projects in other countries. Before coming to UNC, I taught environmental education on the North Carolina Coast and served as an NC PreK administrator.

I am a firm believer in the value of high quality early childhood education and the importance of a safe and nurturing environment for children and their caregivers.
